Paul Bailey


Paul Bailey is the Co-owner / Co-broker of Bailey Properties, along with brother Robert Bailey. Paul, Robert, and father Bob Bailey, established the company together in 1975. Paul began his real estate career at the age of 23.

Paul quickly established himself as a Top Producer in residential real estate in Santa Cruz County.  At the age of 30, Paul was recognized by the Santa Cruz Association of REALTORS® as the “Top Producer” for 1982 in Santa Cruz County.

Paul has become well known leader in the real estate industry.  Paul has been awarded as Realtor Associate of the Year-Santa Cruz Association of REALTORS® (1979), President- Watsonville Association of REALTORS® (1989), Realtor of the Year – Watsonville Association of REALTORS® (1989), and REALTOR® of the Year- Santa Cruz Association of REALTORS® (1996).

Paul is also been heavily involved in the community and has been recognized for his impact and achievements. Paul is the Founder and current Chairman of Aptos Sports Foundation established in 1979. This non-profit foundation has grown over the years; funding local sports facilities, programs and equipment.  To date, over $3M has been raised and donated. Through Paul’s efforts the Foundation has built a new all weather turf football field, an all weather track, lights on the football field, lights on the pool, an all purpose soccer field, and more at Aptos High School.  The Foundation is in the process of building and growing an endowment fund to benefit after school sports in the Aptos community into the future.  For his efforts Paul received the Community Service Award, Santa Cruz Association of Realtors, 2009, and Aptos Chamber -Man of the Year, 1994.

Today Paul enjoys being a mentor to agents and an active sales person.  Paul uses his depth of skill, experience and knowledge to improve the future of the company, and develop the careers agents associated with Bailey Properties.  He enjoys working with his clients and mentoring the agents to their success at Bailey Properties.

Paul believes that Bailey Properties is part of the fabric of the community.  “Our business, associated agents and I benefit from the community we work within.  We need to be a positive participant in our community.  Better company, better community, they go hand in hand”.
